The October NJAGC meeting was held on Saturday the 17th and hosted by Phil and his wife Julie in Long Valley, New Jersey. The meeting was officially called to order at 1:11pm by Jerry, the club’s president, with the introduction of our new member Manny, who brought his fiancé Cat.
A brief unofficial treasury report was given, as well as showing off the club’s new banner to be used at public events and auctions. It was announced that the date of the next meeting will be determined, but hosted by George at his house in North Jersey.
Rachel O’Leary was the club’s guest speaker. She is the owner of Invertebrates by Msjinkzd located in York Pennsylvania. Her website is http://msjinkzd.com/. Rachel is a member of several aquatic online communities and has served as moderator in many of them as well.
