NJAGC hosted both Karen Randall of the Aquatic Gardeners Association (AGA) and Jennifer Williams of Greater Washington Aquatic Plant Association (GWAPA) on May 5, 2018. We called our event, The NJAGC Indoor Aquatic Gardening Day 2018, and it began at 11:00 AM as members and guests started to assemble. The order of the events for the day included drawings for door prizes before and after each speaker where two one year memberships to the AGA, two one year subscriptions to Amazonas magazine, and four $25.00 gift certificates to Buceplant.com were given away.
Jen began her presentation on aquascaping around 11:45 AM.
We then broke out for pizza lunch and even more door prizes.
Karen spoke to the group on the topic of nano tanks.
At about 2:30 PM, the auction began. Multiple dozens of plants were available as well as substrates, tank equipment and various other items. A great time was had by all.
